Diamond necklaces and pendants
Diamond necklaces and pendants are that detail that enhances any look: discreet for the day, luminous for the night. At Roselin you will find everything from the most delicate diamond chain to the timeless solitaire diamond pendant, with options in 18k white, yellow or rose gold and secure settings for an impeccable sparkle.
Solitaire diamond pendant
A must-have. A single diamond is the center of attention and flatters all necklines. Ideal as a "first diamond" or a gift to mark a special date. If you are looking for versatility, this is your option.
Pavé
Multiple smaller diamonds, set very close together, create a mirror effect of continuous sparkle. Perfect if you want presence without resorting to a large stone. It works very well on diamond chains and on geometric or symbol pendants.
Bar necklace
A thin line with diamonds in a row (channel or pavé setting). Minimalist, modern, and very versatile for layering. It adds a modern touch to both formal and casual looks.
Halo
A central diamond surrounded by a pavé "aura" that magnifies its sparkle. It adds volume and presence without increasing the size of the central stone. It shines especially brightly at events.
Tip: If you are unsure between styles, think about the use (daily vs. event) and the taste of the wearer. For daily use, solitaire or bar; for occasions, halo or pavé.
Choosing the right length for your diamond chain defines how the necklace looks and feels.
- 40 cm (choker/soft choker): Sits at the base of the neck. Flatters long necks and strapless or boat-neck garments. Ideal for layering.
- 45 cm (classic): Falls just below the collarbone. Universal and the most popular choice for a diamond pendant; works with round necks and shallow V-necks.
- 50 cm: A bit longer for more movement and drape. Styles well with open shirts and deep V-necks. Perfect for layering with 40/45 cm.
- 60 cm: Medium length. Adds a relaxed and elegant touch over a turtleneck or closed-neck dresses. A good finish for three-tier layering.
Quick rule: for open necklines, shorter lengths (40–45 cm). For closed or high necklines, medium lengths (50–60 cm)!
- Matching earrings: A solitaire diamond pendant pairs perfectly with studs (solitaires) or small pave hoops. If the necklace is a halo, balance it with discreet earrings.
- Layering: Play with 2–3 lengths (e.g., 40 cm bar + 45 cm solitaire + 50 cm pave). Mix textures (curb chain, rolo, Singapore) while maintaining the same gold color for a polished look.
- Metals: White gold enhances the diamond's cool brilliance; yellow gold adds warmth; rose gold softens. Maintain consistency with your diamond chains and rings.
- Common clasps: Lobster claw (very secure and easy) or spring ring (classic and discreet). Look for adjustable rings to switch between 40/45/50 cm with a single piece.
- Setting security: Check that the prongs or the bezel are firm; in pavé settings, ensure there are no micro-movements. For diamond chains, confirm that each link with a diamond is soldered.
- Daily comfort: Choose chain thicknesses that match the weight of the pendant; add an extender if you alternate necklines; prevent the pendant from turning by using anti-twist chains or more "grippy" links.
